Instrumental development

Construction, study and theoretical description of the machine working of energy dispersive X-ray instruments: Diffractometers, Reflectometers, Spectrometers, Tomographers Design of an Atomic Force Microscope coupled with an Energy Dispersive X-ray apparatus for joint microscopic and Diffractometric/Reflectometric studies. Ab initio theoretical calculation to study molecular structures Molecular dynamics and Montecarlo simulations

Neutron scattering

Applied to polymers and inorganic compounds
Design and study of neutron inelastic scattering machines (TOSCA beamline @ISIS, Rutherford Appleton Laboratories, Oxfordshire, GB)

Reviewer of the following international scientific journals: Chemistry of Materials, Journal of Power Sources, Measurement Science and Technology, Physics in Medicine and Biology.
