Major current research activities:
1. The "Study of material and devices for the application of the Kyoto protocol"CNR-RST-research activity focuses on the characterization of organic solar cells and gas sensors by in situ structural, morphological and electrical characterization.
2. In situ structural investigations for the study of polymeric membrane fuel cells, in the framework of the NUME project (Italian project for polymeric fuel cells development).
3.EDXR/EDXD characterization of materials and devices for technological application: superconductive films, magnetic nanostructured films, SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) devices , amorphous metallic alloys, magnetic semiconductors etc
4. Research and Development activity in the framework of the SPARC and SPARX projects for the construction of the Italian X-ray Free Electron Laser.
